W ow, shot put is so fun! The balls were sort of heavy  though, and the high jump wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Athletics day was on Tuesday the 12th 2019. Throwing the Vortex was cool, seeing the Vortex glide in the air. Long jump was fun, I loved to feel the soft sand on my feet.  Long distance running was awesome. I came 1st place, and in the final race I came 2nd!! Quoits is so much fun! I loved throwing the quoits and, how it glided. The  100 metre run was awesome, Mr McPhun let me clap the blocks. Once I clapped the blocks, the race started straight away! I got to do this because I didn't have a  partner for the race. Athletics day was the BEST and I look forward to next year's Athletics day!                                                    

On athletics day I was in the senior athletics.  I did high jump. I did most of the jumps. I only did two jumps wrong but I gave it my best shot.  On sprints I came fifth. I was very proud of myself.  I also did long jump.  I went as far as I could.  We did shot put, the ball was very heavy. 

This term is going to be exciting because we are going to have a lot to do this term.  We are going to Napier for camp I am very excited. We are going to have a lot of fun.  We are going  be sleeping in the Aquarium which is amazing.  It is my first time in an aquarium.I wonder what it look's like?

On Tuesday last week was my first day at Carlton School. I felt happy. I saw lots of cool play grounds. I made lots of friends.  I had people chatting.  I wondered how many friends I would make.
